Brazil, Uruguay sailing plan July/August 2024

A long week for food shopping, cleaning mold outside as well inside, testing the engine and generator, electronics devices, water tank, batteries status, hull cleaning, substitution of the propeller zinc and finally a new handcraft (made in Brazil) pole attachment is ready the night before the fixed departure date: wednsday 10th July.

In Brazil the supermarkets are gigantic, outside there is a mega bar where husbands sit drinking Cervejiña while waiting for their wives to go shopping

The condition of the propeller anode after 5000 miles and 8 months in the water

Nelson cleaning the hull from Mussels and marine vegetation

This is the workshop that rebuilt my pole attachment from scratch...consider that every day it rains every 2 or 3 hours and everything is open-air
